Prior to beginning the packing process, ruthlessly eliminate any unused or unnecessary items. This approach will result in fewer items to pack, move, and unpack, ultimately allowing you to commence your new chapter with a fresh start.
Organise your paperwork
Create a designated folder to store all the essential documents related to your move such as new addresses, rental or purchase agreements, moving contracts, and other pertinent records.
Start packing early
Pack the off-season items first, those that you won’t miss for a few weeks. Think about crockery, kitchen utensils that you can do without for a few weeks. Make a start on wrapping breakables with newspaper or bubblewrap. Anything you can wrap early on will help to reduce the stress when move day gets closer.
Book your removals company early
As soon as you know your move date, book your removals van. We will always try to accommodate late bookings, but if you can give us some notice, we will be more likely to secure your chosen date.
